We run sewing centres in the tribal villages, each with between 15-20 students. Learning to sew provides the women in the villages with a useful skill and a way to earn an income. The centres are very popular with women and girls, who each receive a certificate and their own sewing machine upon graduation.

It also develops good relationships with the villages and makes a way for them to know they are loved and special.

Educating and equipping is a key part of our vision for a sustainable future. We choose to bless each student with a sewing machine when they graduate to demonstrate God’s love for them and also to provide the practical resource they need to get started earning an income.
