An insight into how we began and where we're going.

I'd like to give you a bit of background as to why we founded Fountain of Life and what we're about. FLM's mission statement is to reach the unreached with a message of Hope. Growing up in India I was moved by seeing very poor and needy people, desperate for help. Needs such as education, health, clothing and drinking water which are crucial, were lacking for many people around me. After being in the west for my training and travelling back to India, I found it even more devastating and heart breaking to see people struggling so much. I felt moved by compassion and wanted to help as much as possible. So we started FLM, initially by running literacy schools in the tribal villages, then adding sewing centres, helping widows, running children's clubs and many other projects to give real, tangible help to local people in need.

'What does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.' (Micah 6:8)

Now FLM is growing from strength to strength. People are catching the vision and taking part by praying and supporting. The need is great as we work amongst 64 tribal villages. We recently purchased a large site as a base for the ministry in India with a focus on training. We are also building a home for children. It is a huge task and we would greatly appreciate it if you could take part in this developing ministry and join your helping hands in showing God's love for the poor. 'What does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.' (Micah 6:8)

It is such a joy being part of their lives, and we are continually encouraged by seeing the hundreds of smiles in response to our help. We are especially in need of more regular support as this is particularly helpful in the consistent, planned running of the ministry. If you want to take part in our current building project, - building a home for children, please get in touch. We will give you all the information you need.

From being involved with very poor families I have seen their hardship and know how difficult life can be. My determination and passion for helping the poor led to founding this organisation and inspires me to keep going, no matter the challenges faced. I urge you, please would you stand with us in our journey to help the poor, to make their lives better, to make a difference and to give new hope. Every blessing,
